Honda’s first-half profit fell 75 percent loss of approximately 109 million U.S. dollars
Japan’s second largest car manufacturer Honda has recently announced that its first half of fiscal year (April 2009 ~ September 2009) operating profit fell 75 percent year on year, an estimated loss of ¥ 10,000,000,000 (approximately 109 million).

Honda first half of fiscal year 2009 operating profit of ¥ 90,700,000,000 (about 980 million U.S. dollars), of which net profit of 615 billion yen (about 668 million U.S. dollars). Honda is expected before the first half of fiscal year net profit of 43.8 billion yen (about 4.8 billion).
In July of this year, Honda car of its 2009 fiscal year net profit forecast from 550 billion yen (about 600 million U.S. dollars) increase to 155 billion yen (about 1.69 billion U.S. dollars).
