Audi 2015, by eight new models
Volkswagen’s luxury brand, Audi said in a statement as of 2015, the Audi brand will launch eight new models, the total number of models from the current 34 to 42 models.
Audi side said that by 2012, Audi will invest 7.3 billion euros (about 10.5 billion U.S. dollars) for the development of new models and factories to upgrade conversion. Among them, new models research and development costs of EUR 5.9 billion, accounting for R & D budget for the next four years, 81%. New investment is the Volkswagen Audi Group, 2010-2012 25.8 billion euros as part of investment plans.
Program launched in 2015, starting cars and updating of models including the compact car A1, high-class sports car A7, a small SUV Q3, as well as the replacement A3, A4, A6, Q5 hybrid version and so on. In which the Chinese market will be completed by 2012 Audi A6L’s replacement, A4L, and Q5 small facelift, A1 and A3 may be deferred to The new model layout is complete, Audi product line will exceed the Mercedes-Benz and BMW to become the world’s most extensive product lines, best-selling luxury brand.
